The standard of skate boarding was amazing, and the turn out was even better. Everyone was there with a massive smile on their faces and they weren't afraid to take a few slams, some more than others haha!

Dan isn't particularly evil but for him to be featured in a Christian mag is pretty funny! It's a really old pic too, I wonder if Dan got asked if it was OK? I bet he didn't! Exist Skatepark in Swansea is open!!!!!!!!!

Dear shredders,

Team Creative Director Lt Meat here. As Grim has been hard at work in the shop I've hijacked the blog to tell you all some awesome news about the new Exist Skatepark in Swansea. I'm pleased to say that the Exist Skatepark in Swansea is now fully open!!!!! and it's indoors too!!!!!!!! That's the news. Rick and the team have been slugging their guts out to get the park finished and they've done a cracking job too! 

Me, Beanhead (9" girth Creature from the brown lagoon) and that krooked mofo Tom Bailey headed up for a 20 min skate in the new park, sheltered away from the perpetual Swansea drizzle and sporadic car crime (we didn't realise the park was shutting at 5pm yesterday and got there at 4:40pm.................jerks). Still, we had a nice drive and I feel we got to know each other slightly better whilst travelling on the road together, I won the boner competition with Bailey coming a close second and Beanhead, coming up in the rear, in third place.

I would advise checking on the Exist Skatepark website if you're heading up to check that the park is open and that there aren't any private sessions on the go, there's also information about membership and pricing too. 

Exist head honcho Rick, the most hardworking dude I've probably ever met, sexy and bald too.

The miniramp area, Beanhead and Bailey threw down some bangers on this during the 20 mins we were there.

Our team were definitely the best looking and always deliver the fun, we only didn't win because Vans are racist and we are Welsh haha! It was super sick to see Welsh brothers CITY SURF had a team and we missed Exist but they are getting ready for the Exist Park opening Sat.

You meet people and if you like skateboarding the common ground leads you into conversation and then you can form either a friendship or a polite brush off, I have found that I am alot pickier the older I get. This was not the case with my new homeeys, Garrett (not actually spelt like Carrot) and Shaboopy Nico.

Both dudes ride for Witchcraft in on form or another, Nico on some flow deal through French and Garrett through Dan at Youwillsoon.blogspot.com and 9 Times Skate Shop in Canada, Now it is no hidden fact I love this guy so I held out high hopes for our Canadian brother, no disappointment there, both dudes are rad. He has invited me on the 9 Times tour next year, I am so starting saving today. I will Make This Happen Soon (See what I did there, man I am soooo clever haha!)

Everyone knows how much I think about Lt Meat and how I think him not having an awesome job is a crime.
How is this for a concept, firstly filming an awesome and origional and amusing edit. And then witing the song to match the action in the previousely mentioned edit.

I was meant to be taking my team to an Adidas event with the Gonz but I fucked that off to straight up chill with 1992 throw back Jon a tattooist and close friend who now lives in my home town of Monmouth. It was a day off riding fixed and skating some of the best/worst shit the country can throw at you.
